Additional day for Sid Sriram concert by Woodmark Events due to good response

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular Indian musician Sid Srirams coming concert in Bukit Jalil is now a two-day event due to an overwhelming response from fans. In an Instagram post today, Sriram said: "For those of you who could not get tickets for the KL show in August, we would got an announcement coming for you tomorrow". To be held at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil at 7pm on Aug 20 and 21, Srirams concert is titled Heart and Soul 2.0 With Sid. Meanwhile, Our Woodmark Events publicist Vogue PR said in a statement that Sriram was "overwhelmed by the love and support" shown by Malaysians. Woodmark Events confirmed that the capacity for the second day would be slightly reduced but ticket pricing would be similar to the first day. Tickets priced from RM99 onwards will be available for online purchasing via WhatsApp at 017-793 7030. On Tuesday, 8,000 tickets for the first day of the concert were snapped up between 11am and 12.30pm. Sriram, 32, hails from Chennai in Tamil Nadu and is a music production graduate from Berklee College of Music in the United States. He found worldwide fame after his song Adiye was featured in the film Kadal.

This happens when the demand is too high for the concert but limited seats and capacity available. While this 2mins, 5mins and 10mins SOLD OUT experience is never happened and seen in Malaysia it might create an illusion for fans who felt it was too fast till unable to believe it was real.
